I wanted the family and others to know that many people have asked me about Robert, of how they told me how much they like and respect Robert. He has a reputation that precedes him that is second to none at work and in the oilfield.
His close friends will also tell you he is a true, true friend.
I have known Robert since he was in high school. He went to work at Amoco in my gang in Wink. Yes, I knew very early on that Robert’s work ethics and attitude would take him far. Everything that he has done he has done to the best of his ability and has put his heart into it 100%.
We even managed to have some fun along the way. I told him a while back that he, I, Richie and Bill needed to have lunch one day and we could talk about some of the fun we had with each other. Robert said we would probably need to set aside at least an extra hour to be able to do that. We got a lot of work done under a great atmosphere.
I pray that Robert will receive God’s blessings and get better.
